Lawrence’s Story

Lawrence Ng is now living in Bangkok with his wife, Jen. Their son with Autism, Kai is now 21. The voyage, the journey, the adventure these three had taken them to living in China, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Thailand. Born and raised in Singapore, Lawrence went from an HR professional to a stay-at-home-dad. From a Bachelor in HR Management, to Masters in Psychology, he now provides professional counselling through a person-centred approach. He practises the power of listening and asking questions to help clients find clarity in their darkness. During his time as a stay-at-home-dad, he provided coaching in bodyweight workouts, stretching and yoga classes. He now can no longer fitness coach due to his diagnosis of spinocerebellar ataxia. He enjoys sitting with people and holding space for feelings; happiness, surprise, fear, sadness, anger, disgust and shame.
